hide these in a safe place

My family is a big fan of dried pineapple, and we get some wherever we find it - but other vendors' dried pineapple always have too much of the fibrous core still attached which makes for a less enjoyable experience. Mariani's is perfect - dried yet still chewy and pliable, and without any of the unchewable fiber core or pointy things on the exterior surface of the fruit. I have to hide these so the family doesn't eat them all before I get my share.
