Ingredients

  • ½ cup Mariani No Sugar Added Dried Pineapple, chopped (about 60 g)
  • ½ cup Mariani Sweetened Dried Mango, chopped (about 40 g)
  • 12 oz tortilla chips (340 g)
  • 2½ cups shredded cheddar or Jack blend (about 250 g)
  • 12 oz ground beef, cooked and crumbled (340 g) (use 1 lb / 450 g for extra-hearty)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • ½ cup salsa (120 g)
  • ½–1 cup sour cream (120–240 g)
  • Sliced jalapeño, chopped cilantro, and lime wedges, optional

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large sheet pan.
  • Spread chips. Sprinkle half the cheese. Scatter beef and bacon evenly. Top with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling.
  • Immediately scatter the dried pineapple and dried mango over the hot cheese. Spoon on salsa or dollops of sour cream and add jalapeño/cilantro. Finish with a squeeze of lime and serve right away.
  • Little upgrade: Drizzle with warm queso before the fruit for extra saucy layers.
