More Ways to Get Probiotics in Real Fruit

Some snacks belong in the pantry. Others earn a spot on the counter.

For over 120 years, our family has had one job: bring good fruit to tables like yours. The way we do that has improved with each generation — more fruits, more formats, more ways to think about what real fruit can do — but the job itself has stayed the same. Now, we’re adding two new ways to enjoy fruit with BC30™ probiotic cultures.

Our family has always believed good practices and new ideas can sit at the same table. When we first added BC30™ probiotic cultures to our dried prunes, we wanted our fruit to do more. In a real, everyday way — something you reach for in the morning because it already fits the way your day works. Today, BC30™ probiotic cultures are used across our Mariani probiotic fruit line.

Our Probiotic Prunes became some of our most loved products, finding their way into everyday habits — a handful alongside breakfast, kept on the counter where they're easy to remember and easy to reach. So we kept going.

This year, as we enter our 120th year as a family business, with the fifth generation now helping carry the work forward, we're introducing two new additions to the Mariani probiotic dried fruit family: Probiotic Prunes Plus and Probiotic Mango Chunks. Both start with real fruit. Both include BC30™ probiotic cultures. And both come in a resealable, countertop-ready canister designed to stay where daily habits actually happen — not tucked away in the pantry.

Probiotic Prunes Plus: A Daily Fruit Routine, Upgraded

Probiotic Prunes Plus starts with California prunes, then adds BC30™ probiotic cultures, vitamins B6, B12, E, and iron. There’s No Sugar Added, 3g fiber per serving, and the label says it directly: Supports Immune & Digestive Health.

Around here, we like to say we put the Plus in Prunes. You still get the real prune taste: sweet, moist, chewy, and easy to snack on. The Plus is the added layer: BC30™ probiotic cultures, vitamins, and iron, brought together with California prunes in a way that still feels simple and snackable.

That makes it easy to work into the moments that already exist in your daily routine, like breakfast bowls, snack plates, a quick afternoon handful, or a few pieces alongside cheese and nuts in the evening.

The 16oz canister is resealable, easy to open and close, and 100% recyclable. It is made to stay where the day actually happens: on the counter, next to the coffee maker, or wherever the morning routine begins.

If you’re looking for one dried fruit that moves easily between breakfast, snacking, and simple recipes, Probiotic Prunes Plus is the daily routine canister to keep close by.

Probiotic Mango Chunks: Sweet, Real, and First to Market

Mariani Probiotic Mango Chunks is something we’d wanted to make for a long time. Mango is one of our favorite fruits for its natural sweetness and chewy texture. Bringing BC30™ probiotic cultures to dried mango, in a canister format designed for daily use, is a first-to-market moment for us, and one we’re proud of.

This dried mango has No Sugar Added. The sweetness comes from the fruit itself. Each serving includes BC30™ probiotic cultures and 3g of fiber per serving,  and, when included as part of a balanced diet, it helps promote digestive health.

The pieces are bite-size by design — easy to eat by the handful, easy to portion, and easy to keep within reach on a desk or kitchen counter. Like the Probiotic Prunes Plus, the canister is resealable and 100% recyclable, and it earns its place out in the open rather than hidden in the pantry.

Mid-morning is a natural fit, when something sweet sounds better than something heavy. The canister also travels well, in a bag, a tote, or the car, for days when meals are uneven and a real-fruit option in between makes the difference. Stirred into a yogurt bowl or eaten alongside a small handful of nuts, it feels more like a proper snack than a quick grab.

Why a Canister?

The canister format was not just a packaging decision. It changes where the product lives — and that changes how often it gets used.

A bag often goes into the pantry and disappears. A canister stays where daily habits actually happen: the kitchen counter, the desk, the spot you pass through a few times a day. Both new canisters are resealable, easy to open and close, and 100% recyclable — a practical detail we care about, and one we know many families do too.

There's also an everyday value in the format itself. The 16oz Probiotic Prunes Plus canister offers more servings to enjoy daily if you reach for prunes regularly. The 6oz Probiotic Mango Chunks canister is compact enough to travel well. The resealable lid means neither one needs to be finished in a sitting.

The idea is simple: if you can see it, you'll reach for it. If it's easy to open and close, it becomes part of the day rather than an occasional snack.

Part of the Mariani Probiotic Dried Fruit Family

The two new canisters join a probiotic line that's already part of daily routines across the country. Mariani Dried Probiotic Prunes, Dried Probiotic Apricots, and Snack Pack Probiotic Apricots are already in the collection — each fruit playing a slightly different role.

Prunes fit naturally into fruit-and-fiber routines. Apricots bring a tangy daily snack option. Mango chunks offer a naturally sweet choice for quick bites and sweet cravings. With the new canisters, the line now has more ways to fit into real life: breakfast bowls, lunchboxes, snack plates, travel days, and everyday countertop snacking.

Routines are personal. Some days call for prunes. Some days call for mango. The best snack is often simply the one within reach.

Carried Forward

We’ve added these 2 new options for probiotic fruits because the response to our probiotic prunes made clear that dried fruit with real functional benefits had earned a genuine place in daily life — and mango, as a favorite sweet fruit swap, deserved the same treatment.

We've been growing, packing, and delivering good fruit since 1906. Every generation has found new ways to do that work better — new fruits, new formats, and new reasons to keep real fruit close at hand. These two canisters are the latest version of that same idea: good fruit, offered with care, ready for real life.

We're glad to still be doing the work. And glad to keep sharing it with you.
