Dried Mango Avocado Toast
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup Mariani Sweetened Dried Mango, finely chopped (40 g)
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- Juice of ½ lime (about 1 tbsp / 15 ml)
- Pinch of chili powder or chili flakes
- Pinch of fine salt
- 2 slices sourdough or rustic bread, toasted
- 1 tbsp pepitas (pumpkin seeds), toasted (10 g)
- 1 tsp olive oil (5 ml)
- Fresh cilantro or parsley leaves, for garnish, optional
- 1 tbsp crumbled feta or cotija cheese (15 g), optional
- Extra chili flakes or lime zest, for topping, optional
Instructions
- Arrange the avocado slices over toasted bread. Squeeze lime juice evenly across both toasts, then sprinkle with salt and chili powder.
- Scatter the chopped dried mango on top, pressing lightly so it stays in place.
- Add toasted pepitas and drizzle with olive oil.
- Garnish with fresh herbs, feta, and a pinch of chili or lime zest, if using. Serve right away.
- Quick lift: Add a fried or poached egg on top for a more filling breakfast.
