Dried Peaches & Raisins Breakfast Oats
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Mariani No Sugar Added Dried Peaches, chopped (40 g)
- 2 tbsp Mariani California Raisins (20–24 g)
- ½ cup rolled oats (45 g)
- 1 tsp unsalted butter (5 g)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (240 ml) or any milk you like
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon, optional
- Pinch of fine salt
- 1 tsp light brown sugar (4 g), or to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the oats and toast, stirring often, for 1–2 minutes until golden and fragrant.
- Pour in the milk and salt, bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until creamy, 5–7 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped dried peaches, raisins, and cinnamon if using. Let the fruit warm through and soften for 2–3 minutes, adding a splash more milk if you prefer a looser texture.
- Stir in brown sugar to taste and serve warm.
- Try this: Swap half the milk for orange juice for a brighter, fruitier finish.
