Baked Brie with Prunes and Walnuts
Ingredients
- 8-ounce wheel of brie cheese
- 1 cup chopped Mariani Prunes
- ⅓ cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Place the brie in a small baking dish and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with chopped prunes and walnuts and season with black pepper.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the brie is soft and starting to melt. Loosely tent with aluminum foil if the walnuts start to get too dark.
- After 20 minutes, remove the baking dish from the oven and drizzle the balsamic glaze and honey. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped basil and serve immediately with crostini or crackers.
