Ingredients

  • ½ cup Mariani Pitted Prunes
  • ½ banana, sliced
  • ½ cup baby spinach
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
  • ½ cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • ¼ cup water (optional, to adjust consistency)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a cooler smoothie)

Instructions

  • For a smooth texture, soak the prunes in warm water for 5-10 minutes before blending. This step is optional, depending on the texture you prefer.
  • Place the banana, baby spinach, soaked prunes (or unsoaked), and ground flaxseeds into your blender.
  • Add almond milk and blend on high speed until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add water a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  • If you like a colder, thicker smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
