Spiked Date Shake with Dark Rum
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Mariani Chopped Dates
- or ¼ cup Mariani Pitted Dates
- 1 ¼ cups vanilla ice cream
- ¼ cup half and half
- 1 Tablespoon tahini
- Pinch of Kosher salt
- 2 ounces dark rum
Instructions
- Place the dates in a small bowl and add ½ cup hot water to cover and soak for 10 to 15 minutes to soften, then discard the water. In a blender, add the dates, ice cream, half and half, tahini and the salt. Pulse everything together until smooth. Transfer to glass and stir in the rum. Finish with a straw.
