Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mariani Dates
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 Tablespoons pomegranate molasses
  • pinch of salt
  •
  • Additional ingredients to turn them spooky:
  • pretzels
  • shredded coconut
  • shredded carrots
  • white chocolate chips
  • Mariani Raisins

Instructions

  • In a blender combine the dates, walnuts, oats, pomegranate molasses and salt. Roll the mixture into balls.
  • To make ghosts:
  • Roll the date balls in shredded coconut and roll them out a bit to get the shape of a ghost. Make eyes either with just raisins or white chocolate chips with a little piece of raisin on top.
  • To make pumpkins:
  • Make sure your carrots are very shredded (I like to pulse them in a blender). Roll the date balls in the carrots and then use a piece of a pretzel stick as the stem.
  • To make spiders:
  • Break off the pretzels into pieces where you just have the curled sides. Use those pretzel pieces to make legs. For eyes use white chocolate chips with a little piece of raisin on top.
