If peanuts are a no-no at school, you can swap the peanut butter with almond butter, or an allergy-friendly substitute like sun butter.

Ingredients

  • 1⁄4 cup of Mariani Sweetened Dried Berries & Cherries
  • 1 peanut butter & jelly sandwich on whole grain bread (Option to swap peanut butter with another nut butter like almond, or with an allergy-friendly substitute like sun butter.)
  • 1⁄2 cup of celery sticks
  • 1 small cup of low-fat vanilla pudding
  • 1 reusable water bottle

Instructions

  • Spread peanut butter on one slice of whole grain bread and jelly on the other slice.
  • Put the slices together to make a sandwich. Cut into halves or quarters for easy eating.
  • Measure 1⁄4 cup of Mariani Sweetened Dried Berries & Cherries and place them in a small resealable bag or container.
  • Wash and cut the celery into sticks. Place 1⁄2 cup of celery sticks in a small resealable bag or container.
  • Add a small cup of low-fat vanilla pudding to the lunchbox.
  • Arrange the peanut butter & jelly sandwich, Mariani Sweetened Dried Berries & Cherries, celery sticks, and low-fat vanilla pudding in a bento box or sectioned lunchbox.
  • Include a reusable water bottle to keep your child hydrated throughout the day.
